Down jackets are difficult to clean. There is a little trick that can help remove small stains. For easily dirty places such as collars, cuffs, and hems, you can wipe them with cotton balls dipped in industrial alcohol at any time to remove the stains. When washing is required, add neutral detergent or soap powder to warm water at 20°C to 30°C and soak the down jacket for 5 to 10 minutes. Do not use a washboard when washing to prevent duck down from piling up. Only use a soft-bristled brush to gently scrub. After the stains are removed, rinse with clean water. Do not wring it out after washing. Use a dry towel to squeeze out the water. Shake out, spread, and flatten the clothes, and hang the down jacket on a hanger in a cool place to dry without exposing it to sunlight. When storing, fold the down jacket flat and put it in the suitcase. Since down clothing will not be eaten by insects, there is no need to put mothballs in the suitcase
