Its disadvantage is that it shrinks and wrinkles easily, and its appearance is not very beautiful. It must be ironed frequently when worn.
hemp: burns quickly, producing a yellow flame and Blue smoke has the smell of burning grass and is grayish white. Its advantages are high strength, moisture absorption, thermal conductivity and good air permeability. Its disadvantages are that it is uncomfortable to wear and has a rough appearance.
Raw silk: burns slowly, shrinks into a ball when burning, and has the smell of burning hair. Gray is a dark brown ball that is crushed with your fingers. Its advantages are lightness, fit, soft, smooth, breathable, colorful, shiny, noble and elegant, and comfortable to wear. Its disadvantages are that it wrinkles easily, absorbs easily, is not strong enough, and fades quickly.
Hair: burns slowly, foams slowly when burning, and emits flames at the same time. After burning, it forms a black brittle ball, emitting the smell of burning hair, and the rest is dark brown piece. Its advantages are anti-wrinkle and wear-resistant, soft to the touch, elegant and refreshing, strong elasticity and strong warmth retention. The disadvantage is that it is difficult to wash and is not suitable for summer clothing.
Chemical fiber: There are two types: artificial and synthetic. Artificial burning is faster than cotton, producing a yellow flame with the smell of burning paper and little ash fire, which is dark gray or light gray. Synthetic burns slowly, sparks, emits a pungent sour smell, and melts quickly, dripping dark brown glue that cannot burn, but quickly condenses into black and bright hard lumps that can be crushed into fine pieces with your fingers. Their common advantages are bright colors, soft texture, refreshing drape, smooth and comfortable. Their disadvantages are poor wear resistance, heat resistance, hygroscopicity, and air permeability, and they are easily deformed by heat and easily generate static electricity. Although it can be used to make a variety of clothes, the overall grade is not high and it is difficult to be elegant.
In recent years, another quick-drying clothing has been released: fabric It is polyester fiber, which is mainly nylon, and some are made of environmentally friendly fibers such as soybeans. The water absorption of nylon itself is different from that of cotton and linen. The biggest feature of polyester fiber is that it does not siphon after absorbing water, but increases the evaporation rate by increasing the wet area. The main function of quick-drying clothes is to quickly wick away sweat. Instead of absorbing sweat, it directly transfers sweat to the surface of the clothes, increasing the sweat area to accelerate evaporation and achieve the purpose of quick drying.
To say so much, like me, it is divided into indoor and outdoor. The indoor is air-conditioned and wears cotton. Very comfortable and quick-drying for outdoor use.
I used to like to wear cotton, and for a while I wore linen (it was so worn out) *Headache), cotton-like fabrics are almost no longer considered in recent years.
