Cotton quality: The count of cotton yarn determines the lightness and softness of the product. The higher the count of cotton yarn, the more comfortable and soft the fabric will be. The higher the requirements for the production process of dyeing and weaving factories and textile factories. Of course, it is not made of cotton yarn. The higher the thread count, the better. Generally, 60s-80s are better for clothing. The advantages are: hygroscopicity, warmth retention, heat resistance and alkali resistance. The main disadvantage is that it wrinkles easily and is difficult to restore to its original state without ironing. This is pure cotton fabric. Washing method: For cotton, you can choose alkaline detergent, machine wash or hand wash, but do not wash too hard by hand, otherwise it may deform and affect the size of the garment. Do not expose it to the sun for a long time as it may cause fading.
Hemp quality: Hemp fiber is strong, soft and fine, with good color. Generally divided into three types of hemp, ramie (zhu) hemp: an important textile fiber crop with long single fibers, maximum strength, fast moisture absorption and moisture removal, and can be spun purely or blended with cotton, silk, wool, chemical fibers, etc., Jiangxi Grass cloth and Liuyang grass cloth are handmade products of ramie. Flax: fiber tensioner, soft, good fineness, weak conductivity, fast water absorption and drainage, large expansion rate, can be used to spin high-count yarns and make high-end clothing materials. Jute: A hemp product not used for clothing. Advantages of hemp: good hygroscopicity, no static electricity, good color, not easy to fade and shrink. Disadvantages: Rough feel, easy to wrinkle, poor drape, and poor cohesion. Washing method: For alkaline-resistant hemp fiber, you can choose alkaline detergent. It can be hand washed or machine washed in cold water. Try not to twist it hard when hand washing, otherwise it will cause the fabric’s tissue to slip and deform, and the hemp fabric will easily fluff. Do not expose it to the sun for a long time, as it will reduce the color fastness and cause fading. Just dry it in a cool and ventilated place.
