Clothing knowledge (1) “Color”
In the process of clothing sales, mastering color matching skills is a very critical knowledge. If you want to master the knowledge of color matching, you must understand the basic knowledge of color.
a. Color classification:
There are three classifications of colors:
3) Cool, warm, neutral colors:
Cold: white, blue, gray, black, green, etc.
Warm: red, yellow, orange, brown, etc.
Neutral colors: black, white, gray, gold, silver, etc.
2) Glossy and matte colors (distinguished according to fabric texture):
Glossy color: The texture is silk, satin, etc.;
Matt color: linen, wool, etc.
1) Colored and colorless:
No color: black, white, gray, etc.;
Colored: Red, blue, and green with obvious color tendencies.
b. Basic colors/the three primary colors: red, yellow, and blue
The three primary colors are produced when mixed with each other; red + yellow = orange; yellow + blue = green; red + blue = purple
c. The feeling of color
4) Cold colors: a sense of contraction, mostly representing depth, solemnity, and quietness.
3) Warm colors: a sense of expansion, mostly representing enthusiasm, liveliness and lightness.
2) Harmonious color: harmonious and unified beauty.
1) Contrast color: strong, bright and jumping feeling.
